I checked my email before going to bed right now, and
I saw a thread on the topic of Canon files and AMA.
First, I have not read any posts in this thread - including this one!
So, I really have no idea if what I'm posting is even relevant. However,
the good folks on this list helped me recently with my own "Canon file fun"
so, possibly this will be helpful:
Also, make sure you have the correct AMA plug-in that's compatible with your OS and MC version.
And, make sure there are no slashes in any folder or file name (dash or underscore are OK).
Now… I go to bed...

I did notice that I can't use auto detect ama plugin, I have to specify MXF as the ama plugin the link ama files works but not on the CLIPS001 files. There I get an unsupported resolution error message which I'm attaching. I was told they shot some stuff as log C and some stuff not log C. I wonder if that throws anything into the equation. The clips I can link show up as "XDCAM HD 50Mbit (1080P/23.976). Is there anything like the Sony Content Browser for the Canon c300 footage that might rebuild the folder structure?
