Re: [Avid-L2] Canon c300 can't ama link to volume?

Thanks for the info.  Does the Red X mean you deleted that folder.  I have all the structure inside the CONTENTS folder.  Originally I didn't get a CONTENTS Folder. I added the Contents then put the CLIPS001 folder in that and then put the Contents folder into another folder.  Your picture shows a contents inside a folder that has a Red X and then that is inside another folder that your arrow says to point volume mounting to that.  I found the XF Canon Utility and I could see all the clips in that.  I did find that the second clip folder that was labeled CLIPS002 would not work when I made a virtual media with the canon utility until I renamed it CLIPS001.  I still can't mount ama volume on ama files on that second clip folder.  I did see in the Canon XF utility that the original CLIPS001 folder contained 24.0 clips and I can't mount anything in that using Avid.  The second CLIPS002 folder contain files that are 23.98 and those files would link ama files.  I'm thinking the true 24.0 files are a problem for Avid ama and the 23.98 files work.  As yet I have no solution for why I can't mount ama volume.  Perhaps it is related to the need to specify the mxf ama plugin as the type which you can do in ama link to file but there is no choice in the dialogue box for link ama volume.  I also don't know if the fact that the files are 50Mbits contributes to issue.  I seem to recal 50 Mbit XDCam issues mentioned by Greg H. at some point but I don't think that had to do with a Canon c300.
