Panasonic has recently released a new version of their plug-in for P2 and Avid.
Get direct access to and full native support of P2 media and metadata with v4.1 released in late May 2014. This driver is free for basic Import clips such as AVC-Intra and DV to DVCPRO HD.
Panasonic also offers a Free Software Trial for 30 days for those wishing to use the AJ-PS001G - PS004G devices.
