I'm trying to find the link, but I did read that the version 10 drivers actually included an older firmware.  So Desktop Video 10.1 is essentially an older driver than 9.9.3.

So 9.9.3 WORKED!!!  When I tried it yesterday, I didn't update the software after the 9.9.3 downgrade because it didn't make sense.  I went for it today and all is good!
