I would imagine so. I believe Avid owns the patents and so forth for script integration, which predates scriptsync -- it's just the Nexidia voice analysis engine that they license.

Currently you only need one station to scriptsync and then you can view synced scripts and make all necessary corrections on any other machine. Does MC8 have this capability?
