That did it, John.

***SOLVED***

I created Tone media and imported bars to Mac HD, quit MC, copied the Avid Media Files folder to the Thunderbolt drive, relaunched MC, mounted all, refreshed media directories, then opened Media Creation Settings.

There it is.
