Back before Apple bought FinalTouch and turned it into Color I brought several high level Avid people over to their booth at NAB and said "Look at this. It's awesome. You should buy this." And of course, I don't know how much BlackMagic paid for Da Vinci, but that is another lost opportunity for Avid in this area.
