I'm not sure if resolve is the fastest method of transcoding to Avid DNX 175 but I can tell you that it supposed to ease in the round tripping workflow if you're using resolve to color.
For instance you could use resolve to transcode to DNX36 for off-line editing and then re-link to the original Hi-Rez files in resolve later when it comes time to color grade and you can add the LUT there if you prefer. Or, you could just transcode everything to 175 with the LUT burned in and retain and/or add any new Metadata at that time.
