[Avid-L2] Re: External Thunderbolt Drive not Available in Media Creation Settings

Have you typed alldrives in the console to make sure that all drives are seen as media drives?  It's a toggle command the first time you enter it the console will respond that all drives will be seen as media drives and the next time the opposite happens.  This command sticks so it will remain in the last state when you restart Avid.  I believe that initially the alldrives is set to off so only true Avid media drives will be seen.  Do other external devices show up in Avid as possible storage?

No joy.

It's the only media drive available for this computer.  Getting it mounted in Media Composer is crucial.

Any/all help welcome.
