Re: [Avid-L2] Decent online sound effects library?

Hi,

I don't know current pricing since we purchased our sound effects library about 15 years ago, but you might want to check out the Omnimusic FX collection.  You can find it here:

http://www.omnimusic.com/music_search/browse_by_library.php?lib=5

I was able to sample some of the music without logging in so you should be able to get a feel for the sounds.

Hi,

I'm looking around for some not terribly expensive royalty free SFX, just basic stuff like traffic ambience, wind, area tone, etc. and wondering if there are any libraries you all like to use. I'm hoping not to pay more than a couple dollars a pop, or conversely, a reasonable membership fee. I'm not sure what I really mean by "reasonable," let's say not the $1000 that some of these CD libraries cost!

TIA!
