I don't believe this is possible and am considering asking for it as a
feature request but thought I'd check with the Brain Trust first.
I deal with a fair amount of stock footage that often first shows up
temps at low resolution. It is often provided within a folder structure
created by a researcher. For example at the top level might be a folder
called " The Big Open", then inside that folders with subject names or
phrases that correspond to the script that suggest the topic, and
sometimes inside those folders, even more specific breakdowns.
It would fantastic to drag and drop the whole thing into a project and
have everything within it import, maintaining all the folders (ending up
at bins at the lowest level).
AMA linking does this a little in that it will create bins at the lowest
level using the name of the folder but it doesn't replicate the folder
structure.
Is there any way to automate all of it? Other than hiring an AE ; )
