David,

10.9.2 has not been qualified yet.

Other than that, there is this 'known issue' with Gatekeeper:

Issue #2:  On Mac OS X 10.7.x (Lion) , Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) systems, Apple's Gatekeeper can cause an error when launching Media Composer application installer.

Error:      "[installer name] is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image."

Workaround:  Customers can temporarily change a preference as follows:

• Choose System Preferences from the Apple Menu
• Click Security & Privacy
• If the preference is locked, click the Lock (lower left) and enter your admin password to unlock it
• In the General tab, set Allow applications downloaded from to Anywhere
• Click Allow From Anywhere
• Try running the installer again
• Optional:    After installation, go back to the Security & Privacy pref and set it back to Mac App Store and Identified Developers

I'm having a horrific time trying to do something that should very simple. I'm trying to uninstall MC 7.0.0 so that I can then install 7.0.3. I'm on a 17" MBP running OS 10.9.2.
