The Quadro cards are old and the newer card like GTX-680 are around half the price of a Quadro and perform better. At least it has worked fine on my macpro 12 core with Avid and it is the desired card for Resolve when I spoke with the Davinci engineers a while back. I did have to hack the card data base file for Adobe CS 6 or maybe just AE's card database so it would use the GTX-680 extra potential. Seems they didn't add it to the software as an approved card in Adobe CS6 so it will work but some extra processing functions aren't taken advantage of without the hack.
