I'll try force 16bits effect and check if there's HQ option in animate.
Gracias

I've also had banding problems with high feather values. Inte may be that animatte is an 8 bit effect, but I can't confirm that.
Rendering using 16 bit processing might help.Agustín Goya

Heck, if you're a fast learner I think it has a two week trial. Also, resolve light is FREE.Another possibility is checking your working resolution- are you in a 10 bit codec? And if there's 'hq' mode available for the effect, try that. But, upgrading your color corrector will change your life.
________________________Greg HusonSecret Headquarters, IncGreg (at) SecretHQ.comHi. I have a problem, or maybe its a limitation in MC with symphony. I'm grading an independent movie and in some shots I need to mask some things with a window ib the grade.
so I duplicate the shot in two differents layers with a blank layer in between, then I applied two diferents corrections in each shots and applied a animate-key effect to the upper shot to mask. the problem is that when I blend the mask most of the time the blend is noticed with banding.the same if I tried to make a vignete with paint effect. I'm doing something wrong? its limitation? or I must use another plugin like bbc?thanks in advance!Dario
