Hi Greg. First Thanks for answer.
Im thinking in use Resolve as my color grading soft. I used Symphony in a lot of proyects. Most of the time work pretty well for the. The problem is that im this case I need a lot windows (masks) near blacks areas. So the problem is in this part that the banding appear.
I think its a limit in the software that cannot blend pretty well the window, isn't?
Thanks.
Dario

While I'm assuming it's not in the budget, consider the plugin from base light. Heck, if you're a fast learner I think it has a two week trial. Also, resolve light is FREE.Another possibility is checking your working resolution- are you in a 10 bit codec? And if there's 'hq' mode available for the effect, try that. But, upgrading your color corrector will change your life.

so I duplicate the shot in two differents layers with a blank layer in between, then I applied two diferents corrections in each shots and applied a animate-key effect to the upper shot to mask. the problem is that when I blend the mask most of the time the blend is noticed with banding.the same if I tried to make a vignete with paint effect. I'm doing something wrong? its limitation? or I must use another plugin like bbc?thanks in advance!Dario
