I ended up in the same in-between-backups situation last year. I sent an OWC SSD to DriveSavers and they tried unsuccessfully for nearly 2 months to recover data. As I recall, there ultimately wasn't a charge except for shipping the drive back. It was still under warranty. Hopefully I won't ever have to, but I would try them again.
