Well I heard back from the Camera Person and this footage was shot on a Canon c100. The operator mentioned that this camera had a "True Video Sensor". I'm not sure what that means exactly but I will contact him for clarification. The specs list a CMOS sensor. Is there something about the scan rate, if that is the proper term that would make this a True Video Sensor vs. the sensor on a 5D? Here are some of the record format specs off the Canon website:
