[Avid-L2] Re: OTish: Cow Patty Quandry?

The highly-esteemed ACA membership will probably not be tasked with reviewing Media Composer's 20th century implementations of various antiquated technologies including the Color Corrector, Marquee/Title Tool and Effects, to name but a few.

Everyone knows these Version 0.95 modules are "good enough" -- and users have not complained about their functionality since they were introduced during the Clinton administration.  Accordingly, there is no need to spend company resources to upgrade these modules to Version 1.0 -- especially since Adobe and Apple are ignoring these feature sets.

It would therefore be a waste of time for the "thought leaders" of the ACA to be distracted by your indictment of Media Composer's shortcomings -- in spite of the fact that the product, along with ProTools, actually drives sales of the higher-margin server products, without which, there would be no Avid.
