Personally - I think one of the best things that could happen would be for the company to be taken private. The rush to maximize stock value has been a huge strain.

well, so far today the stock is down almost 25%. On a big up day on Wall Street. I have seen some comments saying this (delisting) could be a good thing for Avid. I am not sure how a 25% loss in one afternoon can be considered a result of "a good thing".
This should be interesting.
