I did relink all the clips in the bin but perhaps my decompose bin doesn't actually contain all the clips. This particular episode has been a complete cluster flop on the ingest side. I was told everything was online and transcoded but then I found they had in some cases consolidated some prores .movs on their 6.5 stations which looked and were online to them but when they came to my 5.5.3.7 SNDX the prores errored as an unrecognized compression and the clips were offline. Given that happened I wouldn't be surprised if the clicked consolidate instead of transcode and some of the other clips that were ama'd. Just a guess but sounds plausible.
If they ama linked to some 23.98 Canon files, not sure if they were 5D or not, would Avid let them consolidate those files. I thought that Avid in a 1080i/59.94 requires those ama clips to be transcoded adding pull down as long as Avid recognized or was set to the proper field motion on the clips. Just guess if they consolidated those some how without a transcode frame rate conversion that might explain some of the whackyness I'm seeing. This is just speculation and nothing I have had a chance to test or try. This damn air date is getting in the way of the fun research I could be doing.
