I'm just being a curmudgeon about the term "locators." I'm not super serious about that one, so much as I am about a display that actually works. This one just plain doesn't.


As to the audio monitors, I'm puzzled that these rotten little buttons would constitute a "workflow." As far as I'm concerned, they don't make anything flow - they're just a big, obstructive PITA, the kind of thing that slows you down all day long. If it's absolutely necessary for some folks to have separate buttons, maybe they could be side by side, so they wouldn't be half track height.

FYI: #1 and #2 are not imitating FCP but rather bringing MC in line with Pro Tools in terms of terminology and workflow. Pro Tools has changed a few names as well to get in line with MC, namely using the term 'clip' instead of the decades old 'region'. As with all things that get changed, it makes sense, but only to a degree…
