Hi, im fammiliar with a challenge from the world of VFX
sometimes they do like once in a 2 month or so, a contest where they publish some elements , photos etc... and give
basic reference for the achieved goal. there is of course a deadline to finish it and visual effects artist can show their talent
whoever wins prizes such as software, plugins, etc...

I thought of an idea to maybe have something like this in the Editing Environment
like having a general bank of shots where editors can grab it and create a story with the same material for the specific task/challenge
and show its editing skills.
its of course only idea that i have in mind, but to arrange it we will of course need a support from Avid :-)
what do you think?
