Re: [Avid-L2] Trick for deleting unused audio tracks in AMA material

Had a small issue with this....

Unlinked the clip...Modified the tracks...when relinking, I would get an
endless cryptic error message. Essentially the media database (new for AMA
media in v7) became corrupted. For those that don't know...it's stored in
User/Shared on the Mac, not the media drive...where you will also find tons
of tiny files relating to every single piece of AMA media you ever
loaded (does Avid eventually clear this...I can see it building up to
colossal proportions over time?).

This was repeatable.

Doing the Unlink and track modification with the actual media drive
unmounted worked better with no errors.
