In Resolve, after you add drives, you get a prompt saying you need to restart for the changes to take effect.

I assume you are talking about adding the drives in the setup area, or whatever section it is so they show up blue,on a mac. Should I not be able to put files into the media pool from drives not set up that way? I'm pretty sure I have.
