[Avid-L2] Avid VideoRAID, ATTO ExpressSAS R380 and upgrade to os x 10.8

hi all
i'm having a lull and decided to start setting up a volume with 10.8 (i'm running mc 5.5 on a 10.6 volume now) to host mc 7 and not surprisingly have run into some snags. my system is a mac pro 3,1 (2008) dual 3ghz quad-core with 32 gb ram, with an ATTO ExpressSAS R380 handling my Avid VideoRAID and a Celerity FC-41ES handling the fibre. both of these seem to be now discontinued and questionable as to their ML support (hard to tell from the ATTO website, but the R380 seems to be supported in Lion). i've setup my new ML volume on a samsung 840 ssd and am building that volume up from scratch rather than do a migration, so i expect to run into these issues, but i was hoping that i wouldn't have to dump all of my cards.
thought i would check in here and see if anyone had any experience with this before i go to avid support.
cheers
b
