Many times I have had problems transcoding linked AMA files, where some
error (I don't recall if it is the same as yours) pops up and halts the
transcode process. Glad to say I have found the solution for this.
It is an annoying solution, but once I found it, my subsequent transcodes
never fail (and I do mean never).
Link your AMA clips or volume
Open your bin columns choices and highlight END
Sort by this column
Any clips that do not have a value for END will be the ones to halt your
transcodes. If you see any here with no END value, delete them and link
again. Repeat until they show up with an END value. Then transcode away.
I cannot say that this has anything to do with your problem, only it is a
quirk of AMA link and transcode that I was elated to have finally found a
solution for. Hope that helps.
