1. Dirt Cheap through HP's remarketing department. Plus, HP warranty service is unparalleled.
2. For maintenance and emergencies, sometimes we need to be able to connect to the Terrablock via fibre through a PC, not a mac, and my last xw8000 died. Actually, the 'bartered from Terry's graveyard' replacement for the last 8000 died, too! (All my spare old 8000s already shipped to Randy's charity because we just don't have a lot of storage room here.)

4. See #1 above. NO ONE on this list should be paying retail for an HP. (Unless you're buying it from one of our valued VAR members, of course!)
