Depends on what kind of 3/4 a couple of low band type 5s and an rm440 is a pretty different experience to 8 bvu820s and a cmx.

But yeah pre roll alone would send you insane on a show like that! Not to mention spool times. In my very long ago news days using a convergence 195 (ampex badged) with 3/4 I used to hate if you sent a go to more than a couple of minutes away it would unlaced the heads, shuttle, replace then spoil in vision the last few seconds. I just hope the machines were far down the hall they were noisy boxes.
