Well, fortunately for us DS users, DPX works great. The XAVC stuff will become huge (pun intended) because of 4K TV deliverables and the inevitable...we need a 4K video for Vimeo of your 90 minute film. It has to be under 5gb though.....I know h.265 will take care of this. Its just a bit amusing.
