With software activation it's version specific. So you can't license V6.0 with V6.5 license details. You need a dongle if you want to move between versions like that.
But why oh why go back to 6.0 when 6.5 is so much more stable.
I'd work in V6.5 and if need be wash the bins through V6.0 but to be honest I've had no issues between V6.0 and V6.5.
This isn't FCP....
