Re: [Avid-L2] Maintain original aspect ratio?

Are you editing in 16:9 SD or HD?

Make the Image Aspect Ratio and Reformat Columns in your bin visible.
Adjust accordingly.

Note..these settings will be non-functional if you import an SD 4:3 image
into an HD project. The stretch will be "baked in", as all HD material is
assumed to be 16:9.

If working in HD, it's best to import/capture SD images into an SD 4:3
project first (or temporarily change your project settings). Then these
columns in the bin will be active and you can reformat without adding an
effect.

If you are editing all SD, then the columns should be active and you should
be able to re-format.







Adjust accordingly.
