Not risky at all if you know what you are doing. That is how Symphony has always gained it's speed form the relational color correction. You can do something similar in Resolve by grouping shots.
Maybe it would be easiest to apply to all clips in a bin. That way you drag all the clips you want in one bin and apply the CC to one of them.
But I have been asking for things like this to be added to the CC for somewhere around 15 years. Gave up hope many years ago. :-(
