[Avid-L2] OT: Windows Install Failure

 

Trying to be smart and do full, clean install of Windows 7 onto a brand new
hard drive (Seagate Barracuda) to run in a z800. Using the HP restore
disks. All goes well until the "Setup is starting services" is almost
complete and then I get a very generic message that the install has failed.

Any ideas? HP says they will send new disks but that seems like a cop out.
