Im working on Symphony 6.5. I've just received some footage from Arri Alexa (prores) with and ALE with CDL information (done by DaVinci Resolve on set)
I've red an Avid whitepaper about how to import the ALE and preserve the ASC CDL information, so I've done it and I actually see the CDL metadata in the bin (SOP and SAT) but there is no change on the color of the original clips.
Is there any way to see the color grading done on set and carried on the CDL on Avid Symphony? Or importing the CDL in Avid is just a way to preserve the color metadata thought the post pipeline?
