148 is spec.
I've got one of these, and i'm getting 45 MB/sec from iSCSI that can do 90
MB/sec.
(still it's a nice solution, since you can access the tape trough the
finder, as if it is a drive.)

Holy crap 148 megs a second to tape! Tape has come a long way since I used
compact IV tape with arcserve software. Thanks for the link, I wasn't even
thinking tape but this was an eye opener.
