Either I'm misreading or there is a typo on the Avid AMA Plugins link page regarding the Sony F-65 ama plugin:
From the Avid Page (http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/Download/en394827)

XDCAM EX formats (including low-res proxies) with the AMA XDCAM plug-in.
With fast and flexible XDCAM workflows, you can edit your way, right
away. Edit SD and HD footage directly, get better clip and project
management with full metadata support, import footage over FireWire, and

HDCAM SR:

direct access to and full native support of Sony HDCAM SR Lite media
and metadata. This plug-in eliminates having to transcode media,
enabling you to start editing footage right away
F65:
The SRPA-10 plug-in supports Lite and SQ bit rates for 4:2:2 files and SQ bit rates for 4:4:4 files
Get direct access to and full native support of Sony HDCAM SR Lite
media and metadata. This plug-in eliminates having to transcode media,
enabling you to start editing footage right away. The Sony F65
AMA plug-in support both versions 6.0.3 and 6.5.
Sony has made
system recommendaitons beyond the minimum Avid system requirements for
the best experience using this plugin. Please see the documentation from
Sony included with the download.
This reads like the SRPA-10 plug in is for the F-65 but in reality it's the PLAV-RW1_v1.0_mac or windows that is for the F-65. Am I misreading or is this confusing? Just something I noticed while setting up my new system.
