Yes, I've been told that it is an AVC-Intra board for capturing
from or encoding to AVC-Intra, which is not something we need.
Nothing to do with AVCHD.
But thanks for all the good input on BOBs; I'll pass along the
info to my boss. (We seriously need an Avid-L in Japanese!!)
Since Oliver is having a good experience with the Decklink
Extremes -- and because they're so doggone cheap -- my bet is
he'll have me buy one for thorough testing, knowing we can switch
over to a Nitris DX box if need be later on down the road. (As I
said, we already have our dongles upgraded to v6; still using 5.5
to stay compatible with our Adrenalines.)
