I'd hurry, as there's a promo to upgrade from any old version to Symphony 6.5 now (expires 14 dec). Videoguys sell a upgrade bundle with Nitris DX for 5K now.
That said, I'm sure that Mojo DX is as reliable. More so than 3rd party options.
MC6 likes fast machines. If you use third party hardware, even more so.
