assuming you order the 27" imacs, only the i7 models are Avid qualified

Have any of you done any comparison tests between the i5 vs. i7 processors for MC? We need to order some new iMacs and I am debating what processors to go with. Didn't know if MC will actually take advantage of the hyper-threading of the i7. If not, I will use the price difference somewhere else.
