Did you do the "power off and restart" the io/Express also? Needs that to flash the firmware.

The 9.0.5 control panel does talk to the IO Express but when I launch avid mc 5.5.3 it doesn't seem to take over the IO Express like I expected. The IO stays displaying color bars. Perhaps I need to check the settings in the aja control panel to make sure they will allow the app control. I forget the nomenclature but hopefully it will come back to me when I open the control panel. Also there is an old analogue mojo hooked up but Avid doesn't see it either so I figure 5.5.3 no longer supports the mojo. I'll try unplugging it too.
