1. 6.0.3.2/10.0.3.2 is Live!
Avid Media Composer 6.0.3.2 (Mac and PC), Symphony 6.0.3.2 (Mac and PC)
and NewsCutter 10.0.3.2 (PC) updates have been launched publicly on the
Download Center (Note that a password and login are required to access
the Download Center through the Master Account login). The updates are
live as of today Wednesday, November 7th, 2012 as of 5:00 pm ET.
Who is Eligible:
Customers running 6.0.x/10.0.x are eligible to download and install the
updates.
Fixes in 6.0.3.2/10.0.3.2:
There are TONS of fixes in this release - well over a 100 fixes so
customers on 6.0.x/10.0.x should be encourage to upgrade.
ReadMe:
Customers should also be encouraged to download and scan the ReadMe so
they know what is fixed.
Patch Instructions:
For details on installing a patch, see the Patch Installer Instructions
pdf on the download page.
* On a PC - if you have already installed a patch on your system, you
must first uninstall the previous patch before installing a new patch.
* On a Mac- there is a full installer, not just a patch. You must
completely uninstall the previous Macintosh version.
Mac OS X Update:
The following Macintosh operating systems have been qualified with this
release: 10.8.2 and10.8.1 (Mt. Lion) -10.7.5 and10.7.4 (Lion)
