Phillip, I agree with you that neither "fanboy" nor "hater" constitutes a rational way to engage with editing technology. But maybe you can stop hurling insults now (and I do believe that you hurled the first one). In my opinion, saying that John's information is out of date and that his approach isn't valid is perfectly legitimate, but you only damage your own reputation and the tone of this list when you start using words like "hater" and "stupid." John even backed down and said he was willing to take it all back based on more recent information, but not even that was enough to make the insults stop.

I will read your response, should you choose to make one, as a matter of courtesy, but after that I'm done with this thread, because it is evident that all useful exchange of information is over.

Neither are worth wasting good communication with as neither has a logical
position they can sustain. So, you're just backing down without providing any
evidence that FCP X "sucks" for broadcast. Not a single thing you're prepared to
put from your own position?

So, you were just being a stupid person throwing out insults without knowing
why???
