[Avid-L2] BM Intensity pro card, Mac Pro Tower, Avid 6.0.3 = slow performance?

 

Anyone successfully using a BlackMagic Intensity Pro card and media composer?

I've had this card installed in my Mac Pro tower and successfully used it with fcp7. When we switched to avid, I'm experiencing excruciatingly slow performance. Excessive sbbd (spinning beach ball of death). When I uninstall the bmd software, the avid goes back to normal.

So, anybody out there using this card?
