How will the Adobe server scale uo for multiple servers if its doing all the effects rendering? Cloud solution need to be scalable and creating a processing bottleneck could cause issues.
Saw Avid's Sphere today and it basically extends Interplay Assist to remote workers and make a remote media composer interact with Interplay and your ISIS like you are local to the server. sub 1mbps streams of media being delivered so should work with just about any broadband.
