Right. I pointed that out in my original post.
SO what's 10% of 14:9 inside of 16:9? Is THAT 20% of 16:9? I refuse to do the math because it's still summer vacation.
MY POINT is that Avid is not using a generally accepted version of safe title. Should there be 16:9 safe title, 14:9 safe title, 4:3 in 16:9 safe title? All of those things are only a horizontal difference in safe title, but I still think the vertical safe title is wrong by 10%.
In Avid's defense on that, Avid's safe action and safe title is the same as Adobe's... at least in Photoshop.
BUT beyond that is the BUG that the title safe in the Title Tool does NOT match the Title Safe in Composer.
