Thanks. I couldn't find any other way then overwriting the clip in an expanded/stepped-into nest. I also tried to save the combined effects as a nest, but could only save individual effects.

Not on top. If I have a clip with one or more effects on it, I just want to load the clip in the source (or drag it on) and REPLACE an existing clip BUT keep the effects intact.
