Howdy-
Seems to happen often to my clients.
Try renaming the Avid Mediafiles folder so that MC can't see it. Then see if MC will start up.
If yes, import a graphic or something small to cause MC to create new folders. You could just create them yourself, but I always let MC do it.
Move your media files, but none of the databases or folders to the new folder. (The 1 folder inside the Avid Mediafiles folder.) See if it works.
If yes, you had a corrupted folder which I've seen a lot of in MC 6.
If no, you probably have corrupted media. In this which case you need to move it into the media folder a few files at a time and let the databases rebuild until you find the bad file or files. Look for any files that are 0K in size. Sure sign of being a bad file.
