I offer:

There are many ways to do this. We do it by using specific show
logons at each Avid. When a user logs on for say, the Today Show, he/
she will use the logon "TD". The Avid computer is then set up to
write only to the Today Show ISIS partition (reading can be done from
all media drives). While the Project itself could be stored on a
"Project" ISIS partition as well, we choose to keep the Project file
locally on the Avid computer.
