[Avid-L2] Media Composer hangs when starting

 

I'm using MC 6.01 and Mac 10.7.4 Lion. Media Composer hangs when doing the initial scanning of the Avid Media files on start up.

I've tried erasing msmFMID and msmMMOB files and have reinstalled Avid Media Composer, but the problem is still there.

At the time it happened I was opening transcoded Epic files which I created from an EDL in Redcini X.

Has this ever happened to anybody else? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
