I've now killed the functionality of a SECOND edit bay by updating the IO Express drivers to the current driver - along with the current 'Open IO' settings. Is anyone else having this problem? I do not seem to be able to back-rev, either, and, naturally, I didn't bother to make a copy of the system drive first.
Is anyone successfully running an AJA IO Express on on Io Express NDD Driver Version 10.3.1 and Open I/O 10.1 ? I'm reluctant to rebuild these systems completely, since they're VERY loaded - Media Composer, Final Cut, and Adobe 5.x on all, and they were working fine until I installed the current IO Express drivers. The time it takes to get from the install version of OSX to 10.7.3, not to mention FCP DVD to 7.0.3 is enough to kill a day per system, so if anyone knows the solution to AJA driver dilemma, I'd sure appreciate any leads.
